The Quilp Helm of Sight Protect

Designed by the Quilp, the Quilp Helm of Sight Protect is a shield for the greatest Quilp warriors (there aren't many); it is a full ceramic helm covered by a layer of boiled leather, with a sacred sign of Quilpma on the front half of the helm, which covers the wearer's eyes and is fully opaque. The sign is enchanted so that the wearer can see through the cover.

A notable secondary feature is that the wearer's sense of self-preservation is thrown nearly out the window whilst the helm is donned, so that the wearer takes more insane risks. This feature was not noticed until it was mass-produced because its first wearer was already a few sticks short of a bundle.

Crisis from the ELotH comic book wore the first helm; he was somewhat upset to find the helm was mass-produced after his disappearance near the end of the series.
