Ithbarg II

Ithbarg II was the first nation of Ithbarg. On the 100th anniversary of the founding of this kingdom, residents travelled south and founded the sister-kingdom of Ithbarg. Ithbarg II was one of the twelve realms of Antior destroyed in the Vampyric Wars and was situated on the northwestern corner of The Shield.

In the high native tongue of Ithbarg (called Sudkon Vuf) the word II (pronouced Vee) means "Original Kingdom".

Ithbarg II was sometimes referred to as the Land of Dwarven Brew, known for it's dwarven ale, dwarven scotch, dwarven grog, dwarven mead, and dwarven iced chai latte.

The dragon Scotchorz once consumed an entire dwarven brewery.

Ithbarg II is home to a large population of Dwarves.

The kingdom recovered after the Vampyric Wars and The Wandering Age, and even began to prosper until 10,661 and the Burning of Ithbarg II. After this the region was overrun with monsters and it is at this point that Ithbarg II leaves the history books of Battal.

The region became known as the land of Grammelgrap, a land of beasts and fowl creatures. Few ventured into Grammelgrap, which was bordered by inhospitable Farnvania to the east and the even less hospitable land of The Dank to the south. Grammelgrap was the location of many of the "evil" kingdoms of Battal, including Affenlichtbaum, the second largest tree-city of the Gorthmaugs, into which the Good Elemenstors of Book 11 made a daring raid.

Ithbarg II is also the location of the Ghatue afv Chonnk.

An ancient tree city of the Extremely Elves knowns as Fellbaum is located in the southern region of Ithbarg II, but its small population its largely ignored by the rest of the population.
